Jewell Presence provides non-medical emotional support to individuals and families navigating serious illness and the end of life. Our services are designed to offer companionship, guidance, and presence during difficult times. These services do not replace medical care, legal advice, or mental health counseling.
3. Scope of Services
Jewell Presence services include, but are not limited to:
Emotional and spiritual support
Companionship and presence
Assistance with advance care planning conversations
Legacy and life review activities
Family support and education
Our services do not include medical procedures, diagnosis, treatment, medication administration, or clinical care of any kind.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information about their needs and circumstances
Maintain appropriate medical care from licensed healthcare providers
Communicate openly and respectfully
Notify Jewell Presence of any changes in health status or needs
5. Confidentiality
Jewell Presence respects your privacy and maintains confidentiality of all information shared during our sessions, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent harm.
6. Fees and Payment
Service fees will be discussed and agreed upon before services begin. Payment terms and cancellation policies will be provided in writing. Jewell Presence is not a medical service and services are typically not covered by insurance.
7. Cancellation and Termination
Either party may terminate services at any time with reasonable notice. Specific cancellation policies will be provided in your service agreement.
8. Limitation of Liability
Jewell Presence provides emotional support services only and is not liable for medical outcomes, decisions, or emergencies. In case of medical emergency, clients should contact 911 or their healthcare provider immediately.
9. No Medical Advice
Nothing provided by Jewell Presence constitutes medical, legal, or financial advice. Clients should consult appropriate licensed professionals for such matters.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Jewell Presence website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Jewell Presence and protected by copyright laws.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Jewell Presence is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of use of any third-party sites.
